What is BYOK?
You connect your own AI provider API key to SCALAR Atelier. We don't resell API access — you see exactly what you spend, transparently.
Is this a subscription or a one-time payment?
Founder Launch at $24.99 is a one-time, lifetime payment. It is not a monthly subscription.
Is my conversation data stored on your servers?
No. SCALAR Atelier is local, single-user by design — conversations, keys, and audit logs stay on your device only. Our servers never see this content.
Which operating systems are supported?
Currently a macOS-only desktop app is in preparation. Other platform plans will be announced later.
Can I start without an API key?
Yes — the app includes an in-app guide that walks you through getting and connecting a key, even as a first-timer.
